A simple axe - the red with white pic guard and the light maple neck and fingerboard make this guitar pop. After making basic set up to make it playable to your preference consider upgrading the strings and replacing the nut for a bone nut. If you like its feel and playability and are feeling sassy have the pic ups changed for some hotter ones and consider shielding the pic ups - typically done or should be done on expensive Strats.

This is the latest of many Glarry guitars I have purchased...this one had the best packaging. Guitar was in a styrofoam cut-out...nice touch. It is a beauty, plays and sounds great. only thing that needs attention is the poorly finished fret ends...ouch! Easy enough to fix...just cover the body AND pickups, hit with a (fine) sanding block. Other than that it is a keeper.

All in all a good guitar for a beginner. I started learning as a hobby and I'm pleased with it. However the action high and there is some quite bad fret buzz on the 4th and 6th strings. I know people will say you can take it to someone and get the actions sorted ect but it defeats the object. Condition was immaculate and the knobs and switches feel sturdy. Just wish that buzz and muted notes wasn't there

Very happy with the guitar. Had to set string height raise bridge pickup a touch and set intonation. This can happen with any new guitar its not a complaint .once set up it looks and plays very nicely. Highly recommend.

The Glarry GST out of the four guitars I bought this one was the best the frat work with great rounded finger boards awesome I just change the strings and did some work on it that's all I had to do good to go thank you Gary

I have ordered 2 of these. Using them to build "Frankenstrat" copies. Out of the box, they both played very well for a $80! The quality is very good, although the 2nd guitar had a couple of issues. But I only noticed those issues because I took the guitar apart. The issues had nothing to do with playability/performance. Out of the box, straight neck, nice action, and decent pickups. I changed to humbucker pickups at the bridge and did away with the other single coils, and the guitar play ...

I would recommend this guitar for starters and for people wanting to start into modding their guitars. I would pick this over the Fender, Yamaha, Jackson intro guitars because dollar for dollar the differences in pickups is not worth the extra $75-100.
