Overall, this bass is fantastic, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. It sounds excellent with its two pickups, and the pickup in the middle provides a nice resting place for your hand. One thing to note: out of the box, the action was quite high, making it hard to play. It's essential to set it up or have a professional adjust it. Once done, it's an excellent bass.

Great musical instrument for the price! This is my second Glarry Bass and I love it.Love it. Glarry produces very good instruments suited for beginners at surprisingly great prices. Did some basic setup and tuning and this thing sounds wonderful. Just what I was looking for in a fretted "J" style bass.

Great budget bass.I needed a cheap bass for the studio in case I needed to lay down some ideas and was blown away by the quality of this Glarry! It's pretty much a squire equivalent but a few pounds lighter! The action was even solid from the factory and it plays well. Definitely a good buy for a beginner or anyone who needs a cheap spare to fiddle around with.

Abolutely great bass guitar value.My first bass guitar, after playing 6 and 12 string acoustic and electric guitars for the past 60 years. I love this bass guitar! The fit and finish are excellent (I do a lot of woodworking and wood finishing and this guitar is a masterpiece!) I also do my own guitar set up work, and this bass guitar was needing - nothing! It sounds really great. It looks really great. Get it and you will love it!

I've used various Glarry instruments for this as they are inexpensive and have a lot to offer for someone who wants to work on guitars. I've used various Glarry instruments for this as they are inexpensive and have a lot to offer for someone who wants to work on guitars. This particular Jazz Bass impressed me and is probably the best quality Glarry instrument I've purchased. That is not to say it doesn't have issues, but for the money, it could be a good beginner instrument. The neck isn't particular nice to the touch, but it's still playable. I'll be sanding this to my preferences as well as doing some light fret filing. However, it's worth noting these frets are in the best shape of any Glarry I've had....still a little rough, but no noticable sharp spots. The body condition is good and the bridge seems centered correctly along with the pickups. I'll be replacing both of these for myself, but they would be fine for a beginning player. The only real complaint I can find is the strings that come preinstalled are terrible. Very rough to the touch. Thought I might cut my fingers on them. Even if you change nothing else about the bass, these strings should be replaced. The cheapest Ernie Ball or D'Addario strings or any other major brand would be much, much better than these.

This GJazz bass is a very nice and playable instrument. It took some bridge adjustments to get it right. Its a real nice Jazz base and compares to one a lot more expensive! I've only had it under 2 weeks but It's going to be my number 1 bass! Good job Glarry!
