This a good bass guitar and a really great value. You just need to be ready for the little problems that you may find. The cavities are not shielded and the guitar does pickup noise. The neck pickup was stuck in the guard and had to be pulled a bit to come up to height. After a little setup and tinkering, it plays well and is fun. Just be aware that it needs a bit of TLC.

I don't know how you folks do it, but this bass is a good, solid instrument, and at the price it's frankly AMAZING! Minor neck and intonation tweaking after shipping, and it's ready to hold it's own in recording, gigging, etc. Might have to try one of your guitars soon... ;-)

My Glarry GJazz! "Big Enos" I bought it with the intent to covert it to fret less. I also upgraded the pickups to Guitar Fetish 10k Alnico's. Also the electronics and the bridge. I finished it off with some D'Addario flat wound strings and black screws in the pick guard for added flair. Lol! This bass was great right out of the box I only made it "mine" with the changes. Considering the price, I have no choice but to give this 5 stars. Straight out of the box, a few adjustments are needed, but for a beginner, this is perfectly usable. For fun, I ended up completely modding mine, but after a proper setup it would have been totally fine as is. The neck is a bit chunky and some might have issues with that, but I liked it. Better than what I thought it was going to be! Can hold a strat or tele securely. The case itself has a peculiar smell but with a little spray and letting it air out it's perfectly fine

This was a gift for my 20 year old son who has some experience playing but not much. He loves it and I love the price. It's a beautiful bass and the amp cant be beat for the price. Ordered on Thursday and delivered Tuesday! Great practice guitar for in.my drum room. May replace strings and have hooked it into a 50 watt amp vs.the 30watt that came with it just to get a deeper sound. Nothing wrong with anything, especially for the price! I want you to say this number out loud... $89.99. Louder... $89.99!!! This bass is worth way more than $89.99. I ordered the GP Bass slightly cringing thinking it might be a big dookie stick but fun to play with here and there.
