I ordered this for a friend for Xmas. It shipped fast, and was packed very carefully. I removed the bass, looked it over and found it to pretty impressive. There were a couple of fish eyes in the paint on back, but I found no other defects The neck was straight, bridge was straight, nut was cut perfectly. Electronics worked perfectly, no buzz or feedback. Before tuning, I lubed the tuners, they seemed pretty tight. I highly recommend lubing the tuners. After tuning, I plugged into a amp I alread ...

After tuning, I plugged into a amp I already have and started playing, I was and am very impressed. I have not put it down for very long, and I decided to keep it for myself!! I ended up ordering another one to complete my Xmas gift. I did use the 20w amp that came with the package and all I can say is it will be good for my friend to learn/practice with, but it is by no means top notch. Didn't expect it to be.
