Arrived in pristine condition. Finish and fit are awesome, a beautiful instrument! I wanted to explore 5-string bass and this bass feels incredible! After a setup and intonation it performs beautifully. Lovely grain and the pickups really deliver. If a maple fretboard becomes available I will purchase another!

I don't think I've ever written a five star review for anything, but this bass is an exception. Now, as always, there were issues that come with any budget instrument, particularly one this cheap. 1. The neck was bowed and there was ZERO tension on the truss rod. A few turns of the included allen key, and the neck straightened right up. 2. The outside edges of the nut are cut very bluntly. It won't cut your hand, but running into that sharp plastic is quite uncomfortable. 60 seconds of light sanding with one of my girlfriend's emory boards fixed the issue. 3. The poll pieces of the pickups are not properly aligned. This is more of a rule than an exception, especially with instruments of this price range. I notice no significant change in the volume of the affected strings. The first two issues were easily corrected and the third doesn't seem to affect tone, volume, or playability. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bass to a beginner, or a seasoned player like myself looking to expand their tonal arsenal. Outstanding. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely amazing product for not only this price point, but for an all around instrument for any level player. I personally did a setup and was ready to go. Customer Service was quick and on point. I received my bass much faster than the expected delivery date. Thanks again Glarry!!!

The first one I got unfortunately had a stripped truss rod HOWEVER the customer service helped right away and sent another which ended up perfect they really spent time Making the bass feel and play incredibly. I will definitely be purchasing another instrument from glarry 10/10

This is my second Glarry 5 string Bass. The necknonbthe jazz is a little wider than my other 5 string. I love everything about it. My only disappointment is the gain from the pickups, they are about 15db quieter than my Percission basses. I can compensate for that, but a disappointment anyway.

My guitar came in with the frets buzzing. you sent a video that did not help. Your customer service rep was going to send me a return shipping label but never did. And no it not go to spam. I ended up keeping it and paying a guitar tech $120 to correct the problem which was the frets were uneven. He put a gauging tool on the neck and showed me the defect. Now the bass plays just fine. It is definitely worth $149.00. Maybe you could send me something for my troubles like a tea shirt XXL and i'll ...

I'm a veteran bassist with countless performances and recordings to my credit. I've owned fender, gibson, ibanez, Warrick, etc, but my 3 Glarrys are amazing. So much bass for so little money. This recent 5 string jazz bass will be going into the recording studio with me in February. Once I set them up my way, they get "gigged" immediately. I look forward to trying whatever Glarry has to offer, peace.

I love My Glarry 5 string Bass, My luthier was impressed with the bass also, especially after i told him the total price plus shipping in a few days. I must admit, I did change out the pickups to Hum-cancelling pickups i ordered from Ali-express. That and a setup ,was all i did to the bass after it was purchased. The only negative thing is the gig bag for the 5 string, seems to be the same one for the 4 string, and it barely zips all they way up. Other than that comment, I still love the bass b ...

The package arrived surprisingly fast, and when I opened it up, there she was. Beautifully finished, shiny and pristine. The setup was off, I had to use some fine sandpaper on the neck, but after a few adjustments and tweeks, I am pleased to report that this bass is even better than advertised. It plays very well, while the pickups are a bit brighter than I would like they work very well, the knobs are surprisingly good quality and I am highly pleased with this bass. In fact, I plan to gig out with it as one of the three I typically take to shows. If you are a beginner or intermediary player, you could do far, FAR worse than a Glarry bass. I LOVE MINE! Glarry, if you ever make a 5 string Burning Fire, I WANT ONE!!!!!!

Bridge pickup sounds absolutely fantastic, neck pickup isn't my favorite, but I'm not big on the neck pickups of J basses in general. When the tone control is cranked there's a noticeable hum. The neck and fretboard are dry right out of the box, but they can be brought back to life with some linseed oil. The neck is definitely thick, but it fits nicely for ...

The fretwork seems pretty decent, no sharp edges. Out of the box your action is going to be nice and low, but the B string took me some work to get right. Mostly messing with the saddle there. This thing also just looks great, the finish was really good on mine, no dings or dirt under it. Color scheme is just a classic. All in all, it's a really affordable, decent 5 string. I would recommend it if you're looking for a B string on a budget.
