Bought this bass with modest expectations, but it exceeded them. It arrived early and in perfect condition, with a carry bag and strap included. The sound is excellent, and it's easy to play. Ideal for beginners and a great value for the money. Even includes a tuner, though it's a bit fiddly. Overall, a fantastic instrument for its price!

Fantastic value. Wanted a P style Bass for the classic sound so put on a set of Flatwound strings, A quick tune up and lowered the action and I'm very impressed. Sounds great. Got my eye on the GIB model next!

I just got this Bass Wednesday/Yesterday. I bought this exact model 3 years ago and learned on that bass. Playing hours out of the day. You can definitely learn and gig with this bass. Most importantly the GP1 PRECISION BASS I bought 3 years was and is excellent but Glarry really made some improvements on this bass. Anybody from advance intermediate beyond or day one will love this bass. The neck is a noticeably chunkier than a Squire Precision or Fender which you can read in the descriptions of ...

It's a very good instrument for a beginner, with just a few little points knocking off that 5th star: The body is quite light while the neck and head contribute a significan heft, which does cause some awkward handling that can get uncomfortable after a while In addition, the pick-ups are quite short which can make then difficult to rest your thumb on Otherwise, I'm very impressed with what I recieved for the pricepoint

After all the glowing reviews and impressive youtube videos, I decided to give this a try. I wasn't expecting much for $90, but this was nothing like the basses I saw on youtube. The strings were unplayable. They felt like rat-tail files. The mounting holes for the pickup screws were too far apart, so the assembler put the screws in at an angle. This drove the pickups down into the cavity where they were jammed on the angled screws. I had to fill two holes with epoxy (one for each pickup) and re ...

This drove the pickups down into the cavity where they were jammed on the angled screws. I had to fill two holes with epoxy (one for each pickup) and redrill them at the right spacing. After that and replacing the strings, I was able to play the bass. It sounds nice, but it feels every bit like a $90 bass. I improved the playability a little by sanding the neck and giving it four coats of danish oil followed by a good rubdown with a soft cloth. Bottom line, if you get lucky and get a good one, it's okay. Get a bad one and you will have to return it or fix it.
