I purchased this bass with the full intention of modifying the heck out of it. I had a new pickup picked out, new tuners, and was even looking to put a roasted maple neck on it. When I received the bass I was surprised at how light it was without being neck heavy. I give this one 4 Stars only because it came with loose screws on the pickups that I tightend (Quality control issue) and I had to do a bit of a setup on it to straighten the slight bow in the neck and lower the action unlike the "Burning Fire". Furthermore Glarry you have to do a better job at shipping the guitars. Guitars should be shipped as a box inside a box to absorb the rough transit through the shipping process. This is the nicest beginner bass I have ever seen I had a spinal cord injury and my old bass was just so heavy I bought this one because everybody's all the reviews said it was so light weight while it is and it sounds beautiful thank you so much for making such a nice product

Over all, very impressed with products. Minor adjustments to be made, but that's to be expected. Frankly, most impressive is the fact that, even though i ordered the stand as well, it was not shipped with my guitar. When i emailed them about this oversight, (which i did right before i went to bed.) I had a response before i got up the next morning and the stand was already being shipped. I am impressed. This is a good first bass guitar for the beginner. I love the finish on it. There are no fret sprouts. Just need a minor adjustment on the bridge - easy to do with the tool provided - to get the right height for me. The strings were in good shape. Normally, I replace the strings on inexpensive guitars but did not need to do so. Plugged it in and it sounds fine. The body is light.

Discovered the Glarry GP Electric Bass on a couple of YouTube unboxing videos and decided to give it a shot. I needed a bass for my studio as I really dislike Midi bass. For the price I cannot complain at all. It is stable, has a decent neck and looks good. Downsides would be that it is top heavy due to the body being so light, but this is not an issue as this is a studio bass for me. I am very satisfied and appreciate Glarry's good service here. Very happy with this purchase. For the price you arent going to do better. Neck needs a "very lite" sanding closer to body to smooth out a little rough spot but it doesnt absolutely need it. The pickups work fine. Probably gonna put about 60$ into upgrading tuners and pickyps and this will be every bit as good as a 400$ bass. If u want to try out bass to see if you like it this is definitely 1 to pull the trigger on. I would recommend this product.

For $80ish, this bass is pretty good. Pickup works nicely, sounds punchy like a p bass should. Action is a bit high, but not too bad. The only issue I've noticed is the neck-dive. If I were advising someone wanting to learn bass, I might push them toward something nicer, but for just a p bass on the side, I'd say this is definitely a bargain.

Like many of the reviews I found, for the money, this is an pretty good bass. Out of the box it just needed a tune up. The action is a little high for my liking but by no means bad. Electrical noise, at least playing through a USB sound card, is very low to not noticeable. A great first bass and probably one that will hang around ....... if you have enough space :)

My first Glarry purchase,in Sunset to match my Ridgewood Strar Sunset. Up and ready to go soon after being out of the box. Quite impressed to be honest. Only real issue was bent fine hex tool. As a note to purchasers Hermes were very fluid in this delivery which almost left me speechless. Since delivery I've ordered Glarry Bass Strings & Dedicated Kinsman Bass Amp from the online Market Place. I would & will order Glarry again.

I give this 4 stars because nothing is perfect, I wouldn't even give my Gibson 5 out of 5. But this is as close to perfect of a starter bass setup that I've ever seen. I received the instrument a fair 3/4 days after it shipped and it came in a fairly undamaged box! The yellow color is much more mustard than the bright yellow pictured, but I definitely prefer the darker color! Not a lot of buzzing up and down the board and the pickups are extremely solid for the price. Strings ain't bad either. ...
