The bass was packaged well with styrofoam all around it. I read several reviews and lubed the tuners before trying to tune it. The neck was very straight but for me the action was too high. I had to file the nut and lower the saddles. I had problems with only one fret buzzing out on the A string. I fixed it with some very light sanding on the fret in question. It sounds very good through my amp. A little bit heavy on the neck side but not too bad. The body is very light and the finish was great. ...

Great bass! Just a little expected tuning out of the box & it's sounding great and plays easily. Mfg. quality, fit & finish are beyond expectations for this this price, or even for something that would cost more. Fast shipping too & No disappointments here.Glarry delivers a lot, for just a little.

For This Price I Could Not Be More Happy. I prefer Basswood for tone so thats a bonus for me, i prefer the bare wood on my necks so thats also a bonus for me. The neck pocket could be a little tighter, the pick guard has one little spot thats not perfect and the rout for the bridge puckup isnt perfect but none of that really matters. It sounds really deep, warm and transparent with no ground noise when both single coils are the same volume. It feels especially great to hold or stand with becau ...

I was very eager to get my hands on one of these guitars, as I had seen a few YouTube unboxing videos. I was not disappointed. It arrive quickly and in perfect condition. I quickly tuned it up (not set it up as the was done already). I am not gonna tell you that this is a good guitar for the price, I'm gonna tell you that this is a good guitar!!! I am thinking of going back for the P Bass version

Glarry is the best. I was led to them by Max of GuitarMax on youtube. And he was right a ridiculously low price for an awesome guitar. I will always buy from Glarry because they sell guitars that other companies sell for twice or three times as much at a mere fraction of the price. Do yourself a favor buy one today you won't be disappointed. Glarry Rocks!!!!

I am a guitarist that decided to study bass and needed a practice guitar. I saw the "Bully the KID" video and I was impressed, so I purchased the sunburst and it was better than expected! The finish is flawless. I tuned it up and it was playable out of the box. Neck straight. No Buzz or Hum. No real issues. The action was a little higher than I like, so I lowered and intonated it. I love the feel and the sound of this guitar. It is comfortable to play. Tuners and bridge are ok. The only cosme ...

If you want to spend less than $200 on a full size bass, buy a glarry. I purchased and received in April 2019, and have proceeded to beat the S*** out of it since. I had Initially planned to buy the P bass, but it was sold out and I lacked self control and patience, so I bought the jazz bass, in sunset as black was the only other option at the time. Mine personally has the old style headstock (I.E. the fender one) The neck, head and nut are identical to that on the Glarry P bass, but even with ...

The online reviews of the Glarry bass are quite accurate. For the price of this bass it is a superior product. It does require some setup as do most instruments regardless of price. But in my opinion what is really superior is the customer service.I ordered directly from Glarry because of the reputation for good customer service. It turned out that I had a truss rod problem and it was taken care by a few emails in days not weeks.

The bass is good for the price, though the one I received had some issues. The pickup cavities were not centered with respect to the strings - the neck pickup should have been located 1 mm further towards the G string side, and the bridge pickup should have been located 2 mm towards the E string side. The action was too high even when the bridge saddles were in the lowest position, so a shim was needed in the neck pocket to lower it. There were a few frets that needed to be dressed a little ...

If you are on the fence about ordering one of these then I urge you to do it. I watched a ton of reviews on YouTube before ordering mine and I'm extremely pleased with the J bass. I will be ordering a white p bass soon. I expect the quality to be on par with the J. Just get the bass. You'll be happy with it.

I bought the Jazz Bass on a Wednesday and it was at my house on Thursday! I'm a drummer who's trying something different so I can't say anything about its playability, but it sounds great and it's a beautiful instrument. For the price point you get a lot! WTG, Glarry!

Very pleased with this base. The neck has a nice satin finish that feels great and plays well. Only had to adjust the string height a little bit. The burlywood finish looks great. Great value.

You can NOT beat Glarry on their price point. Straight out of the box, the action is nice, super straight neck, NO sharp frets. The only negative is a lil humming which is probably grounding from bridge. But I LOVE it. Project bass. Would luv to get one to mod and create something new.

I'd been living in regret ever since I sold my Fender Jazz Bass in an ill advised fit of guitar collection thinning. I kept seeing the Glarry guitars and basses on Ebay and went to the Glarry website but I didn't believe a Jazz Bass could be sold for under 80 dollars. Well, Glarry proved me wrong. I included the photos to show how well the bass was packed. It came totally setup. No rough fret edges. The neck is straight and the bridge is properly intonated. The pickups have an authentic Jazz Bas ...

I am a guitar player but wanted a bass to use for some of my home recording projects. I didn't really want to spend a lot of money while looking around for potential bass guitars to purchase, I stumbled on a "unboxing and review" of the Glarry bass guitars. Based on the video's I watched on Youtube reviewing these basses, I decided to purchase one for myself. At the Under $80 dollar price tag, I didn't think I could go wrong. When the package arrived I was very surprised at how well the bass ...

For the price, a great bass, quality and build even with a Squire, nice finish and fit, came set up with low action, straight neck, neck width is that of a p bass, I put on an Allparts bone nut for P bass, and it dropped right in, minimal sanding/filing on slots. Decent tuners, pickups OK, on thlower output end but decent sounding. Neck is chunky but pretty comfortable, better than my Pbass. Very lightweight. Overall, for the price you can't go wrong if you get one with the QC like mine had.

Pluses Playable straight from box No high or sharp frets Minuses Tuners a bit stiff Pick up positions not cut correctly slightly off in both pickups meaning strings not quite in line with pickup poles but doesn't seem to affect output Buzz when connected to amp Overall very good value for money after greasing the tuners and rewiring the electronics with screened wire it is now a solid very playable bass. Highly recomended

Outstanding bass for the money. I tuned it up and it played great right out of the box. Set up was spot on. It played better than the bass I paid ten times the money for. I ordered the p bass a week later. Great job Glarry!!!!

YES! 5-stars - for the money spent and the purpose that I have - you cannot beat the value! Cosmetic quality is far above what I expected and it is functionally solid sounding - not perfect, but I am very pleased. Ordering was easy, shipping was quick (7 days)...and at these prices...awesome! I just need to do a quick setup on the neck relief, string / pup height and intonation and I am ready to rock this glarry bass!

To be fair I didn't think the quality of this bass would be all that great. Once I opened the box I was very surprised to find the build was very nice and it really looked 10 times better than I thought it would. I did make one change to the Bass.... I took the stock strings off and replaced them with Tape Wound strings because I prefer the thump of the coated strings. The stock strings were not to bad and I will keep them as a backup set. NOTE: My new strings cost only $3 less than the full Gl ...

I bought this based on the YouTube reviews of Glarry's Precision bass, and what those reviews said about that guitar are pretty much spot-on for this. Out of the box, it plays and sounds great. For the most part it looks great too - it's only when you look closely that there are one or two rough edges, cosmetically, but absolutely nothing serious - and for the price, the quality is nothing short of amazing. Pay attention to what one YouTuber says, to oil the machine heads before even turning the ...
