Got this cello for my wife for Christmas, and she loves it. It sounds good for a starter cello, and looks good as well. Black Friday deal and we received incredible value for our money. I had a local shop set it up properly for $40. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend as a starter cello.

I am giving this 5 stars because for a starter cello it is better than I expected it to be. The strings it came with are not high quality by any means but they are good even to start with. It took about 5 days for the strings to stretch and the whole instrument to settle so it would stay in tune. I used peg dope on the pegs and oiled the fine tuners like I would do to the violins. It stays in tune and sounds decent for a cheap instrument. I ordered a better bow before I even received the cello s ...

Wow! Really.I thought I'd buy it as a knockabout violin so I didn't have to cart my more expensive violin around... and when it goes in for a service etc. HA. I love this Glarry. It arrived 2 hours ago. I only ordered on Saturday. Easy to set up. Didn't even need tweaking. Can't believe I got a decent violin with a case, bow, spare strings, a decent rosin AND an adjustable shoulder rest for £35 5 ***** for this violin. I highly recommend for a beginner who's not sure or a more experienced play ...

The violin came with a crooked neck. Customer service was disappointing.

Perfect violin!

If you are a music lover, you should like and protect your instrument. Violin strings are very important, and the violin can't play wonderful music without the strings.

Good strings should have good sound quality, fast tuning, stable pitch, good playability (fingers feel safe, strings react quickly) and long life. The strings used by different instruments are different, and the material of the strings greatly affects the tone of the instrument. The tension of the string is necessary for the string. The tension level is generally divided into five levels: ultra-low, low, medium, high and ultra-high. The higher the tension, the thicker the string. The thicker the strings, the more mellow the sound.

When you are using an instrument, you first need to learn how to adjust the strings, followed by the installation of the code and the use of the bow, especially for beginners of a musical instrument.
