I'm just a beginner but I really like the way this one looks and how it comes with all the basic equipment to learn with. Compared to other guitars the price is great, and it ships fast and very well packaged. Not five star worthy though because one of the strings came MUCH looser than the rest so now I have to figure out how to fix it before I can play.

While I'm new to bass, I'm familiar with guitars and aspects of their quality. I will say, that I was skeptical of some of the reviews. However, after receiving the bass, I'm pleasantly surprised! The fret work is smooth with no sharp edges and the finish is great. The hardware has no play in it and everything is a shiny chrome. For the money you can't beat it. With a little setup and new strings, it's a perfectly playable guitar with the classic Strat sound. A few minor complaints: the ball at the end of the strings get stuck in the block. I'll need to get a round file and enlarge the holes. No big deal. Also, the tuners are marginal and make it a bit tough to get it in tune, but considering the price that's to be expected. Overall I'm very happy with the instrument and give it both thumbs up.

Arrived quickly however on of the pickups wasn't correctly seated and needed to be adjusted quite a bit. For a beginner bass, it's well made and I have been impressed with how well it holds tune. Slight buzzing around the 12th fret but should be able to file down the frets without much issue. I bought the bass for my 11 year old daughter, so the fact that it is very lightweight is a plus. For a bass guitar under $100, I think it's well worth the money.

Overall I was satisfied with this purchase. Everything worked well, and for the price my expectations were exceeded. The only problem I experienced was one of the pickups had fallen into the body of the bass. After further investigation I discovered that the glue holding the pickup to the outer casing had failed. I was able to easily fix it and the bass played fine afterwards. It was certainly something that happened during shipping, but I figured I'd mention it to help improve the future qualit ...

The blue to black sunburst body finish is beautiful, the pickups have a decent sound. The neck is uncomfortably fat like a baseball bat and the action cannot be lowered far enough to make it play correctly...the bridge saddles are already at maximum depression. That being said, it is worth the price. I'm tempted to buy it a better neck and leave the rest as-is.

Amazing instrument, just PLEASE abandon the tremolo, the floating one doesnt work and isnt good for beginners. I have 2 of these now, and a GTL, and I'm very much wanting to trade them in for GTL's because of that one part. The rest of the GST is flawless. Not bad at all! I love the feel of the neck! Great job Glarry! I setup the neck and got the intonation set. Plugged into the headrush pedal board amp simulator and this guitar rocks for the money! It definitely has a Stratocaster style sound. Once i dialed in the same type rig Jimmy Hendrix used, The glarry guitar had no problems with getting that old strat tone. Very well made guitar for the money. I plugged it in and gave ita fast tune. Sounds amazing and the intonation wasn't to far from perfect pitch straight out thebox! Just have to do some tweaks. The packaging could be better, the box showed that it had a rough trip. The Guitar had damage on the head stock, looking like it was dropped on that side. Double boxing would probably take care of that. The finish and playability were good upon arrival needing only the action lowered a bit, and the pickup height adjusted. I recieved the guitar and it would not stay in tune. By the time I finished tuning the 6th string to the 1st string...the 6th was out of tune again. I contacted Glarry and they sent a new set of tuners. Great customer service.

Very nice for the price. Neck a bit chunky for my tastes but just a preference thing. Pickguard cut a bit sloppy but other than that top notch and very lightweight bass.

I received my Jazz Bass on time and in excellent condition. I will have to admit this Bass is even with the cost. I received and did a setup on the neck, and it plays very well. The pick-ups are not what I would normally choose, but there again the cost is very low. So if I add another 100.00 bucks, to purchase a set of moderate pickups, I will own a playable Bass for less than 200.00 dollars. That is un-heard of in this country.
