4 because of the price, playability, the look is so great! First bass, also impulsively play unplugged. Took some free fender lessons over last summer. Anyway, there was a loose wire unsoldered to one of the pots. Bought a cheap solder gun and got reimbursed for it ( thankfully, thanks Glarry! ). I have to buy nut blanks and completely remake the nuts for these guitars. The low e and high e are cut in a way the strings will not stay on fretboard when trying to play. I build and repair guitars. I purchased this guitar to mod it it out. Once I shape and finnish the necks, replace the pickups, and make new nuts I will review the product. I'm gonna give my full honesty. Ive had it one week and played with it a few times. I was skeptical at 1st but said "hey i need a cheap bass just to play with from time to time" (my focus in the last fee months has been guitar). I had a 5 string I got rid of to reinvest into guitar. Now for $89 this plays well. Only issue is a wierd ring on the G string when played open but I'm gonna do some adjusting. The pickups work great. The knobs great. Plays well, sounds good. Gig bag is not padded. It's good as a dust cover. Body is very light so head dive is an issue. Will need to get a strap that has better grip on my clothes to keep it from sliding. Would buy again.

Got the guitar and decided to black it out. New black hardware all around. Back of neck was pretty rough so a little sanding and it was good to go. Truss rod adjustment to straighten the neck a little bit and set string height and intonation and it plays great. Really like the sound from the neck pickup but the bridge is a little harsh. Original tuners were not great but I've seen worse. Very happy with it now.

Bought for one of my brothers half my age, he loves it. I set it up for him and there were a couple minor things I could leave a negative comment on. Restringing was a little clunky, just cause the saddles were kinda all over the place trying to get through. Also when strummed there was a reverberating echo from the springs in the back, so I put in some of the flimsy packing foam. Otherwise, I thought it was a pretty good value and my four brothers all have a guitar too now.

There are a few minor blemishes on whatever was used to give my glarry gp bass it's shine but it's minor, not to mention, cosmetic so I'm not highly concerned about it. When it arrived, the box had a big hole in the side (likely from shipping) but having some sort of grip is better than a dropped and broken guitar any day. Fantastic guitar for the price! Needs setting up though. To start with a positive, the body was immaculate and the neck was perfectly straight. The guitar worked right away and did not have any electrical issues. As to expect from the price, I needed to dress the frets and file the nut slots. At first, I could not fit the wammy bar. I bought this bass as a Christmas gift for my wife. She has been wanting to learn to play for quite some time. After reading reviews, I decided to go ahead and order from Glarry. Bought this for my wife who has always wanted to play the bass. Needed something reliable and good for not a lot of money. Most of the reviews I read were good so I took the leap. She opened it on Christmas and was very pleased. Has already taken several on-line classes and seems to enjoy the ride so far. Amp is pretty small and a little tinny but just fine as a starter given the price. So far very satisfied. Thanks.

I'm loving this bass!!! It looks beautiful and plays well. The only thing that feels a little light on it are the tuning nobs but they still work great. Perfect for beginners or even customizers. Hands down the best value on a bass out there.

The guitar was delivered on time even though it got snowed in while it was in nj. The bass played well out of the box. The action was a bit high for me not a big deal. I gave it a good setup and it plays like a champ. I would recommend it to beginning players or for a modding platform.

The bass was setup well and played well. The action was just a bit high. The fret wire was handled very well with no sharp ends. The only problem that I had was it arrived with a broken tuning key but glarry rectified the situation. I would recommend the basses for any beginner or for a good moding platform.

I was impressed with the Precision Bass Guitar that I purchased for my son. The workmanship is better than I expected. Also, the paintwork is very nice with smooth color transitions. The bass has a good feel, decent action, and was fairly close to pitch when I opened it up. I lowered the action a bit and adjusted the octave harmonics a bit. The amp isn't the greatest but will do. Bang for buck is outstanding! It's not gonna compare to a $2000+ bespoke guitar, but I'm genuinely impressed with this. Highly recommended for anyone that's just getting started or just wants something they can entertain themselves with. The fret ends did need a very light touch up with a sanding pad and some steel wool to remove some sharp edges and take care of some light dirt and rust (it did have to cross the Pacific, after all), but nothing major. Bass looks and sounds great but one the neck pickup is slightly imbedded into the pickguard. I haven't attempted to fix it myself yet but I may in the future.

The package came quite beaten up and the nut has a crack around the e-string, which I don't think warrants the effort of sending it back considering it took two weeks to get here in the first place. That said, it is very playable, sounds great, and is exactly what I was looking for.
