Very impressed with this bass. Straight out of the box it looks superb. Not heavy and balances nicely on the strap. The finish is flawless and it's well put together. I lowered the action a tad and it was ready to go. Volume and tone controls actually work and make a difference to the overall sound. I know they should, but some bass guitars at this price point dont, so it's great that these do. I would be quite happy to gig with this bass. Before I get into it, some quick details for modders! 10mm Tuners, and 2 1/16" Bridge spacing. The guitar looks good, the chunk of maple the neck was made from looks good. The fretboard was pretty decent; no sharp fretwire sticking out. Fretends could use slight rounding. Was able to do a setup with low action, intonating within +/-4 using GuitarTuna Chromatic Tuner. Ordered this to try to learn with my daughter. Shipping was quick and arrived in a timely manner even with the national lockdown. The shipping box had a tear in the side but it didn't affect the contents. Everything was in great shape. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend Glarry for anyone who is just starting out.

My bass came quickly. It was adequately packaged and arrived unscathed. After unpacking I immediately saw that it was very nice looking. I tuned it up and it sounds quite good. It plays well. This is a very good buy and a good value. I expected to get a bass that was functional and okay for a beginner. I found it to be that and much more.

Product reviewed is the GIB Bass with Sunset finish. Very pleased with the look. The only flaw I observed is a small nick on the top edge of the headstock, which doesn't bother me at all. I made no adjustments to the setup. The strings were properly de-tuned for shipping, so it took a little time to set the right tension, but I'm happy with how it stays in tune (this bass has sealed tuners). Pretty ridiculous value & quality with this product! I only wished I could have had more than only two color choices when I order last month Out the box, it was clean, no dings ripples or chips. just needs to be set up like any other bass before your get the "best" tone from the instrument, the GJazz Bass is ridiculous quality craftmanship & was very easy to "set up" straight out the box. Such a beautiful guitar, the sound is great and I am in love with the color! I'm a beginner so this was the perfect bass. I'm so glad I got it. There's a little rust on the pickup but it doesn't lessen the quality of the sound so I would 100% still recommend this for somebody just starting out. Love it!!!

Nice solid guitar for the price. Would recommend. I did put different strings on though. The ones that came on it would fret out. New ones didn't. Plays great!

Note: this review is coming from a complete beginner getting into the bass for the very first time. Overall, this bass serves its intended purpose. I believe that this would've been a fantastic guitar for the money. I was skeptical because I wasnt sure about the quality. My problem was that on arrival the head of my bass had a small crack and when I contacted the company I received no email to help. Also another problem I have is that I think the 19th fret I slightly taller or shorter than the rest so when I attempt to play at higher ranges I get a bad sounding buzz even though I've set this bass up several times trying to fix the problem

I like this guitar. Non playable as arrived but I expected to do a complete setup on it. Bad strings, cannot intonate low E, new strings coming. Will see if this fixed intonation error. I like the fully adjustable bridge. Minor mislocation of fret 14 by 0.012 inches but I think that won't affect playability.
